Sea Ray Boats will auction a fully equipped 2006 185 Sport on eBay with all proceeds going to the Knoxville, Tenn., chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The approximate retail value of the boat is $30,000. Sea Ray has donated a sport boat to this cause for the past five years. Boating enthusiasts can bid on the boat beginning 9 p.m. June 7. Bids can be placed by logging onto www.ebay.com, typing in the word "charity" in the search section and looking for "Sea Ray: Cystic Fibrosis Charity Auction."

Bids will be accepted through 9 p.m. June 17. The winner will be announced that evening at Knoxville's Cystic Fibrosis "Cruisin' for a Cure" event.

Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disease that affects about 30,000 children and adults in the United States, affects several Sea Ray employees. Pat Blake, vice president - product portfolio executive, sport boats and sport cruisers at Sea Ray, has a child with the disease. Employee Lucas McNabb also has a child with Cystic Fibrosis.

Sea Ray is part of Brunswick Corp.'s Boat Group division.
