Smoker Craft/Starcraft uses Grow Boating funds for rebates

The promotion runs through Feb. 28.
"We recognize that the first quarter of 2009 faces some hurdles, but know that there will still be buyers in the market this year," said Phil Smoker, vice president of corporate sales, in a statement. "Our plan is to ease the purchasing decision by utilizing the Grow Boating funds by offering aggressive rebates on various products."
The rebates are unique to each brand and are dependent on model and size. They are available on Sylvan, Smokercraft, Starcraft and Vectra products through participating dealers in the United States and Canada.
Starcraft Marine and Smoker Craft merged in New Paris, Ind., last year. Together they manufacture a line that includes aluminum fishing boats, pontoon boats, fiberglass deckboats and runabouts.
