Boston show to return after hiatus

June 2010 News
After a one-year hiatus, the Boston Fall Boat Show will return to the Seaport World Trade Center this year with a three-day show running Oct. 1-3, organizers announced.

The show is owned and operated by Boat Shows Inc., a subsidiary of the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association.

For the first time, this year's show will feature late model used and brokerage boats from New England's leading dealers and brokers. The event will include a collection of fully serviced, cleaned and detailed used boats in the 15- to 35-foot range.

All used boats will be less than 10 years old.

"The marine marketplace is rebounding and this event will assist our exhibitors in generating additional business for this coming off-season", show manager Warren Kelly said in a statement. The advertising and promotional budget has been increased, ensuring this show will deliver a qualified audience. The show will be offering floor space discounts and other incentives to support exhibitors."
