torm this morning, with maximum sustained winds of 135 miles per hour, the National Hurricane Center reports.

The latest warnings, however, say interests in Bermuda should monitor the progress of the storm. The center of Danielle is expected to pass well east of Bermuda Saturday night.

Swells from Danielle will begin to arrive Saturday on the U.S. East Coast. These swells are likely to cause rip currents through the weekend, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Earl, located about 1,430 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands, is expected to intensify.

As of this morning, Earl had maximum sustained winds of 45 miles per hour. No coastal watches or warnings are in effect because of this storm.
