Mercury Marine gets boost from overseas demand

Mercury Marine is finding pockets of sales strength overseas, including Asia and South America.

Parent company Brunswick Corp. is reporting increased sales and production in recent months, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

About 38 percent of Mercury's sales now come from outside the United States.
