Apex Marine is now shipping boats oversees to Germany, Russia, Australia, South Korea, South Africa, The Philippines, China, India and Turkey. The manufacturer of Qwest and Gillgetter pontoons also has dealers in Canada, bringing its total number of countries represented to 11.
"Almost all of the contact is initiated through them seeing our website and then e-mailing or calling us," says Apex Marine rep Matthew Cresswell. "All of these places are dealers for us overseas. The process of getting the boats shipped is the same as any dealer here in the United States except we load the boats in oversees containers that can hold four pontoon boats at a time."
Apex Marine has a dealer in Potsdam, Germany, the Russian dealer is located in Moscow, Russia, the Chinese dealer is in Shanghai, China, the South African dealer is located in Knysna, South Africa and the Australian dealer is located in Noosaville, Australia.
