Costa Del Mar- Polarized 580 Indio sunglasses

You've gotta love a product that is described as the "go-anywhere, do-anything" type of sunglasses. Like most shades I was first drawn to the look of them, with the secondary thought being on the actual features. You can shop this way when you start with a good company.

I've been impressed with the Costa Del Mar line of polarized sunglasses for years, probably as much for the durability as for the design. You would think all sunglasses would be built to withstand an active lifestyle, but truth is they aren't. But Costa Del Mar is one of those manufacturers that produce high-quality eyewear that is perfect for boating.

One advantage to the Indio sunglasses is the 580P polycarbonate lenses that feature fused C-Wall treatment for superior resistance to oil, water and scratches. This simply means you won't need to buy another pair for quite some time and with a suggested retail price of $169 that's a good thing. You could pay less for a pair of sunglasses, but it's true that you get what you pay for. For me, knowing this pair will hold up to my constant abuse on both land and water is enough to justify the price.
