Uncle Norm's Marine Products-Never Miss Hitch

Never miss huh? When the name of the product seems to almost throw out a challenge, I couldn't help myself; I had to try it out. But when I was told that "anyone" can back directly to the hitch the first time and every time-and even the first-timers are successful on their first pass, that's when I got an idea.

I don't know what it's like at your house, but my wife and I have a system. I've found that hitching up the boat is a two-man job (unless I want to keep jumping out of my truck over and over to check the position and risk denting my bumper). I back up, my wife guides me, that's our system. Now here is where my idea comes in. My wife has never backed up and hitched on to a trailer in her life. So what better way to find out if this Never Miss Hitch really is as easy as they say it is than to talk my wife into helping me out. Her only stipulation is the test had to be done using her SUV that she's more comfortable driving and not my truck.

She was a little nervous at first, but truly a good sport. The unique three-point sight system really does give you "rifle-like accuracy" like it says on its website. My wife backed up our Expedition using the rear view mirror, while keeping the single pole centered in her sights between the two poles until the ball and hitch met. Solid metal wings on the trailer hitch create a positive stop and absorbed the docking impact.

She had complete success the first time and was very excited and I was impressed.by both her and the product. The hitch guide wings and sight rods remove in seconds and fold for compact storage so you don't have to worry about having this extra stuff on your tow vehicle when not in use.

The Never Miss Hitch retails for $59 on its website and that's a solid price for this heavy-duty product. Plus there is no way my wife is going to let me give up now anyway so it's a keeper at our house.
