National Marina Days Launches Summer of Giving

April 2017 Industry, News

National Marina Day is a nationwide boating event dedicated to growing boating participation across North America.

What began as a single day of celebration in 2001 revolving around marinas and the role they play in our communities and in our country’s recreation has become so much more.

Now in its 16th year, National Marina Day has grown to be National Marina Days: Summer of Giving. Marinas countrywide are encouraged to hold events and fundraisers. National Marina Days gives an opportunity to grow the boating participation, give back to our supportive communities, and enjoy all our marinas have to offer!

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, marinas across the country are asked to give back to any charity of their choice. The Association of Marina Industries is proud to suggest Folds of Honor, a charity dedicated to providing the families of America’s fallen and disabled service- members with educational scholarships, as our recommended charity.

The Association of Marina Industries is encouraging marinas to support Folds of Honor during their National Marina Days Summer of Giving Celebrations! Help us reach our goal of $30,000! Register with two easy steps.

Register your Marina on NationalMarinaDay.org.
