I have a Clarion CDM4 head unit with 4 Panasonic speakers. The speakers are something like 160 max watts but I'm not sure of the rms. I had a basslink powered sub woofer but it crapped out on me. I bought a Kicker SKM10 sub for $50 from Circuit City before they closed and would like to use it now.

Kicker specs:
Ohm 4
Max Rec Power (watts PEAK/RMS)* 300/150


Would an amp clear up the sound of the panasonic speakers?
What would be a good but reasonably priced amp?

what would be a good amp for the sub?

Would you get a 5 channel or do them separate?

I mounted my Bimini this past weekend and found that my topside cover no longer fit. I am having Paul make some modifications to my upper cover to allow the bimini to go through it. Before glide-GPS---------- 19.5 - 2 people - 9 pitch prop ---5600 RPM

With GLIDE- GPS---------25.4 -   2 people---11 pitch prop---6000 RPM

Water Glide people said to go to a 12 or 13 pitch prop.

Did not need to lower motor.  Measurements showed that boat may cavitate- it did not

Smooth ride, rides higher in water! A great addition!
