| As far as deck boats are concerned, Regal offers one model--the 200 Density Center Console. It comes in the traditional I/O version and, new for this year, and outboard version. According to company officials, this sporty little craft is a hot seller among Regal diehards. We can see why. In 1997 we awarded it the Center Console Deck Boat of the Year, and nothing has changed since. For other models, where Regal has put its efforts rather than the deck boat market is in what might be considered a hybrid model of boat--a cross between a deck boat and the traditional ski boat. It's called the 2300. Although it is not officially referred to as a deck boat in company literature, it has many of the amenities of a deck boat--a sink, a portable potty/change room, fore and aft ladders and a large front deck area on the bow. Compared to traditional ski boats, this boat is a family’s dream.
The boat offers a windshield and it runs well, plus it has that traditional Regal quality and is expected to be a good selling craft.
