Bennington Marine, which manufacturers Bennington, Azure, Southwind and Sedona lines, has joined Independent Boat Builders, Inc.
"Bennington is a great addition to our membership list," IBBI President Tom Broy, said in a statement. "They are already proving to be a perfect fit with the other owners of our organization with their eagerness to support the group's common goals."
"Bennington Marine chose IBBI because of its positive reputation in the industry as well as its strong array of member builders," Bennington president Steve Vogel, said in a statement. "The IBBI is a natural fit for all four of the Bennington brands. We look forward to working in concert with the group to improve buying opportunities and creating further synergies with the member companies."
IBBI is a purchasing cooperative located in Benton, Ill. The organization has 23 members in 30 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
