First cast of spring with Evinrude sales event

April 2008 News
"Consumers can't go wrong with an offer that extends the warranty coverage on an engine for their new boat, or, for those folks who want to extend the life of the boat they already own, get a financing option or receive a rebate on re-powering with the best outboard available," said Mike Kennedy, vice president, North American Sales, Outboard Engines at BRP. "Purchasing a new Evinrude E-TEC engine is a wise investment for boaters who want years of hassle-free enjoyment," he added.
Consumers who purchase and take delivery of an eligible new boat package or re-power Evinrude E-TEC outboard engine from a participating dealer during the program period will receive a five-year factory-backed limited warranty (which includes a three-year BRP factory warranty PLUS an additional two-year B.E.S.T. [BRP Extended Service Terms] coverage). Consumers who purchase and take delivery of an eligible engine to re-power a boat from a participating dealer during the program period may also receive revolving financing consisting of no down payment, no interest and no payments for 12 months, or a rigging rebate based on engine horsepower as follows:
-An $800 rigging rebate for eligible purchases 200hp and above;
-A $400 rigging rebate for eligible purchases 115 to 175hp;
-A $200 rigging rebate for eligible purchases 40 to 90hp
The promotion is offered in the United States on all new, unused model year 2008 and earlier Evinrude E-TEC engines 40-horsepower and above that are purchased between April 15 and June 30, 2008. To take part in the offer, consumers must visit a participating Evinrude dealer. Authorized Evinrude dealers and complete program details, including official promotion rules, can be found on
www.evinrude.com.
