New BRP warehouse expected to improve delivery times

May 2008 News

The warehouse, which opened April 15, brings dealers an expanded availability of genuine Evinrude and Johnson parts in a location where aftermarket suppliers have a strong presence, according to the company.

The new warehouse also greatly improves delivery times for dealers in the area.

"Opening a warehouse in the largest boating state in the U.S. allows us to offer dealers lower shipping costs with one-day standard ground delivery to the entire state, including the Florida Keys," said Gary Wenzel, BRP's director of parts and accessories, outboard engines, in a statement.

The Fort Lauderdale warehouse also improves parts delivery in the area through extended-order cutoff times for normal and emergency orders.

Bombardier Recreational Products, a privately-held company, also manufactures motorized recreational vehicles, including Sea-Doo watercraft and sportboats.
