PDB Poll

Published in the August 2008 Issue August 2008

You might be happy to learn that those who voted on our latest poll survey at www.pdbmagazine.com are more concerned about safety, at least when it comes to camp fires. We asked those on our home webpage what was the most important factor and the results weren't even close.

Friendly Fire

What's the most important element of setting up and enjoying a shoreline campfire?

Safe position of fire pit, well away from the boat 72.73%

Finding enough combustible wood 13.64%

Making the fire as big and bold as possible 4.55%

Making sure you have enough seats! 9.09%
