The 25 honorees are grouped into four categories: Leaders, who by their individual efforts and sheer strength of will have had a strong impact on the hunting and fishing scene; Innovators, whose product breakthroughs make time spent in the outdoors more productive and enjoyable; Conservationists, who work to ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy the outdoors; and Unsung Heroes, who in quiet but important ways are doing great things for the outdoor sports.
Morris is lauded for his promotion of outdoor sports and conservation efforts.
The winner will be presented with the Readers' Choice Award.
The magazine will honor the OL25 and the person chosen for the Readers' Choice Award during a special reception at the SHOT Show in January in Orlando, Fla.
