Augusta Civic Center will host boat show

AUGUSTA - At noon on Friday, March 6, the Augusta Civic Center will open to the 33rd annual Augusta Boat Show. Featured at the weekend event will be pontoon, aluminum and fiberglass boats,; center consoles; sports fishing boats; decks; canoes; kayaks; IOs and outboards; and a marine parts store.

Attendees will be able to learn more about bass fishing and to attend Dave Barnes' bass fishing seminars at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday; and the Kennebec River Power Squadron will hold a two-hour GPS seminar from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. All seminars are free to show patrons.

The civic center is at Exit 112 of I-95; parking is free. For more information, visit americasbestshows.com.
