June 2009 News

June 1, 2009 - Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow visited Triton Industries' Manitou Pontoon Boat manufacturing facility in Lansing, Mi., Monday morning. A strong supporter of the boating industry Senator Stabenow met with Triton President Scott VanWagenen and key staff members to discuss the financial crisis and its effect on the marine industry. The Senator received a full tour of the manufacturing facility and met with a small roundtable group in open discussion. "Senator Stabenow is a great supporter of our industry and is fully aware of the issues we are facing" said Triton President Scott VanWagenen. "Coming from a boating family, Senator Stabenow is very mindful of the importance of the marine industry and will be carrying this message to Washington."
