Solve The Challenges of Transporting, Launching and Retrieving Your Boat

June 2009 News

Recreational boaters who trailer boats to lakes, rivers and the ocean enjoy the ultimate flexibility in boating, but they've always had challenges with transporting, launching, and retrieving their boats.

The United States Power Squadrons has solved this problem with their new 2 hour seminar, The Complete Guide to Trailering Your Boat.

In a brief, two-hour session taught by qualified instructors, boaters will learn the best techniques to launch their boat, retrieve their boat, and how to select the correct trailer and towing equipment.

The Complete Guide to Trailering Your Boat seminar is being offered nationwide throughout the summer at locations convenient for all to attend.  Topics covered will include the challenges of towing and choosing the right vehicle, the art of towing, choosing and equipping your trailer, launching and retrieving your boat, maintenance of your trailer and many more topics.  When the seminar is completed each person will receive a Certificate of Completion and the United States Powers Squadrons Guide, The Complete Guide to Trailering Your Boat.  They'll also receive a Trailer Seminar Notes notebook for future reference.

Everyone who trailers their boat, from beginner to pro, will gain invaluable knowledge and make their boating experience more enjoyable.  Go to www.usps.org and click on the Education link to find the seminar location nearest you.
