Yamaha launches used outboard promotion

July 2009 News

"This program helps the Yamaha Key Dealer by giving the consumer another reason to buy," said Dale Barnes, Yamaha Marine Group division manager, marketing, in a statement. "The consumer gets the security of knowing the outboard has passed a 75-point check and that its maintenance is up to date."

The program offers replacement of consumable items - such as the fuel filter, oil filter, oil, spark plugs and impeller - with genuine Yamaha parts. Plus, the YCPO outboard will include either one-year Yamaha Limited Warranty coverage or one-year Genuine Yamaha Extended Service coverage at no cost to the consumer. Participating Key Dealers will be charged a discounted cost for the YCPO program's Y.E.S. contract, if applicable.

The YCPO program is limited to eligible used Yamaha outboards in stock and available in inventory that comply with YCPO Outboard Program eligibility requirements. It is only applicable from authorized, participating Yamaha Outboard Key Dealers in the United States.
