Boat show underway in Lansing, Michigan

January 2010 News
The weather may not have you thinking summer yet, but that doesn't mean you can't catch a glimpse of it. The 12th annual Lansing Boat Show kicked off. Exhibitors are showing off their latest models at discounted prices. We spoke with one who said the hottest boats this season are actually pontoon boats. With this show as a main predictor of how sales will go this season, he said so far they're off to a great start.

Gary Krupa, Krupa's Boat Mart: "It's been an excellent crowd, it's been non-stop activity, we've sold some boats already, so we're happy. We are cautiously optimistic about the show and about the year."

It runs from 11-4 and admission is free.
