Yamaha starts outboard sales promotion

July 2010 News

Yamaha Marine Group today began the "Sizzlin' Summer Sales Event," a promotion that offers two consumer benefits, depending on the technology and horsepower of the eligible outboard purchased.

"This promotion covers a wide array of Yamaha outboards," said Dale Barnes, Yamaha Marine Group division manager of marketing, in a statement. "The 'Sizzlin' Summer Sales Event' is sure to give customers even more reasons to buy."

The consumer benefit for purchasing a new eligible Yamaha 2.5- to 60-hp 4-stroke or 8- to 150-hp carbureted 2-stroke is a credit based on MSRP toward the purchase of goods and/or services at the authorized participating dealer that sold the outboard.

The consumer benefit for purchasing a new eligible Yamaha 75- to 150-hp, 200-to 250-hp 3.3L V-6, or 300- to 350-hp 5.3L V-8 4-stroke is a 24-month Yamaha extended service contract.

The promotion applies only to eligible outboards sold from July 9 through Aug. 31.
