ORLANDO, Fla. - With months to go before this year's Marine Dealer Conference & Expo, more than 180 industry professionals have already signed up to attend the event.

In addition, more than 50 exhibitors have already signed on to the event, including more than 30 boat brands, with more being added regularly. Boat brands scheduled to appear at this year's show include: Apex Marine, Avalon & Tahoe Manufacturing, Bennington Marine, Brunswick Boat Group, Chaparral Boats, Chris-Craft, Cobalt Boats, Crownline Boats, Edgewater Power Boats, Everglades Boats, Manitou Pontoons, Monterey Boats, Nautic Global Group, Nautic Star Boats, Premier Marine, Pursuit Boats, Regal Boats, Scout Boats, SeaArk Boats, Smoker Craft, Stingray Boats, Tigé Boats, and Tracker Marine.

A complete and updated list of sponsors/exhibitors is available at boating-industry.com/mdce.

The event might not be until November, but discounted MDCE registration prices, which can eliminate up to $100 of the registration cost, expire after September 26th.

By registering before the deadline, attendees can save $50 off a full-conference pass for this year's MDCE. Normally, a full-conference pass is $449, but early bird registrants can get one for only $399. MRAA members can save an additional $50, bringing the total cost of registration to $349.

Bringing additional staff members is also discounted - additional staff members are $349 for MRAA members and only $379 per person for non-members before the early bird deadline. This allows dealerships to attend all three tracks at a discounted rate.

Social registrations, which allow spouses and/or family members to attend the three networking cocktail receptions during the event, are always only $179.

Dave Mitchell to discuss expanding market share

Are you well-positioned for a full market recovery? The general session that kicks off the 2010 MDCE, "Expanding Your Market Share" by Dave Mitchell of The Leadership Difference, will help you better understand the answer to that question by challenging you to identify the needs of your customers and deliver customized services for our new market.

Participants will learn the four primary decision drivers within the market; how to identify these decision drivers in their customers; their own preferred style of leading, selling and servicing customers; and how to adjust their style of leadership, selling and service to meet the needs of the market.

During the session, Mitchell will use humor, stories and examples to identify the individual market "sweet spots" that drive business decisions and teach participants how to situationally adjust the way they lead, sell and service appropriately.

Mitchell is a popular and engaging speaker whose clients have included Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs, Sub-Zero/Wolf Appliances, Electrolux Appliance Company, as well as Rosen Hotels and Resorts.
