SouthWind Boats begins delivery of 2011 deck boats

August 2010 News
CAIRO, Ga. - SouthWind Boats has begun delivery of their 2011 model year deck boats, SouthWind stated in a press release.

"We are excited about the product and have had an overwhelming positive response from dealers looking for a complete line of deck boats," Paul Hoppes, president of the Seminole Marine Group, stated in the release. "We wanted to make sure our boats exceeded the dealers' and customers' expectations before the line was released. Judging by the reception the boats have received, we feel like we've reached our objective of building a premium salterwater deck boat."

SouthWind Boats has been manufacturing Sailfish saltwater boats for over 25 years. "The goal for SouthWind was to enter the market with the most stylish and well-built deck boats in the industry, while maintaining our focus on performance and value," stated Hoppes. "SouthWind uses many of the components and building procedures from Sailfish to make SouthWind truly saltwater worthy. Seminole Marine has been the winner of the NMMA CSI award for the last five years, and we want our SouthWind line to follow suit."

SouthWind offers a variety of deck boats, with 15 models ranging from 20'-26'. "Having such a diverse range of deck boats allows dealers to consolidate their lines while still giving their customers a variety of options to choose from with just one boat line," Hoppes stated.
