SBA developing revised Dealer Floorplan Program

November 2010 News
WASHINGTON - The Small Business Administration is currently developing its new revised Dealer Floorplan Program (DFP), which will replace the now expired pilot, according to a release from the National Marine Manufacturers Association

Last week, the NMMA and other industry leaders hosted a conference call for more than 30 lenders to inform them that a new program with improved terms is being readied by SBA.

SBA is currently collecting feedback from the lenders and is aiming to increase lender participation in the program.  SBA hosted a conference call on Nov. 16 with industry and lenders to discuss concerns with the original DFP pilot and how to ensure lenders of all sizes participate in the new program.
