Marina guide offered for EPA rules

January 2011 News

C.I. Agent Solutions is providing a free booklet to marina owners that outlines EPA guidance regarding non-point source pollution.

The reference tool covers best-management Environmental Protection Agency practices for stormwater runoff, fuel station management and petroleum control.

Designed to help marina owners with spill prevention, containment and countermeasure guidelines, the booklet includes definitions of terms, reporting requirements and recommended equipment.

Nine case studies focus on problems such as sheen removal, oil spills, diesel cleanup, salvage recovery, secondary containment and bilge maintenance.
