This roundup includes awards given to Composites One marketing manager Marcy Offner, Star brite and the winners of the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County's Beacon of Light Awards.
The Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County is recognizing five people and organizations for their support of the Florida county's marine industry.
The awards will be presented March 23 at the Phillips Point Club in West Palm Beach during the 26th annual Palm Beach International Boat Show.
The award for Marine Advocate of the Year is being given to Chris Anders of the Freedom Boat Club and Patricia Harrell of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The award for Marine Project of the Year is being given to Palm Beach County Environmental Resources Management and Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation.
The Member of the Year is Danny Mroz of Land N'Sea Distributing.
The association represents more than 800 marine-related businesses in the county that collectively have an annual community economic impact of about $1.5 billion.

Marcy Offner, marketing manager at Composites One, was recently honored by the American Composites Manufacturers Association with the Outstanding Volunteer Award.
Offner was recognized for her contributions to the composites industry, where she has worked for 13 years. She has been an association volunteer for several years, most recently serving as the Convention Committee chairwoman, helping to deliver two successful composites trade shows that attracted more than 3,000 people.
She also will soon lend her expertise to the association's marketing and public relations committee.
"It has been my pleasure to share my expertise and experience with such a worthwhile organization as the ACMA," Offner said in a statement. "The composites industry is an important part of manufacturing in North America and if I can help highlight the strengths composite materials offer to so many industries, I am glad to do so."

The Save Our Seas Foundation recently recognized Star brite for its line of eco-friendly boat-cleaning products.
Artist Guy Harvey presented framed prints and certificates to Star brite in honor of its environmental conservation efforts in 2010 at the recent Miami International Boat Show.
Project SeaSafe is Star brite's environmental initiative funded by SeaSafe product sales. The project is a supporter of the non-profit Sea Turtle Oversight Protection hatchling rescue program and programs such as Project Snook.
"In a year of environmental catastrophes, we need now more than ever to set a positive example. Being good stewards of the sea is a core principle that Star brite has championed for nearly 30 years," Star brite chief executive Peter Dornau said in a statement.
