Legendary Marine opens rental business in Florida

May 2011 News

Legendary Marine recently launched its first rental operation, MidBay Powerboat Rentals, at the foot of the Mid-Bay Bridge in Destin, Fla., at the Legendary Marine headquarters complex.

The business offers new boats, including fishing boats, pontoons, sportboats and jet skis. Center consoles include two Sea Hunt models - the 202 Triton and the XP 19 - and the pontoons feature the Harris 240 Sunliner. Other options include a dual console fish/ski boat, plus personal watercraft featuring Yamaha VX Sport jet skis.

Rental periods range from one hour to a half day or a full day.

"We've long had consumer requests to offer a rental program and we're pleased to finally make it available to the market," managing partner Fred Pace said in a statement. "Our soft opening over the past few weeks has already validated the demand and we are very pleased by the response to date."

Legendary Marine operates dealerships in Destin, Panama City and Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Gulf Shores, Ala.
