Yamaha donates engine simulators to Ohio group

May 2011 News

The marine trades Skills for Life program at the community resource center in Oak Harbor, Ohio, recently got a boost when Yamaha Motor Corp. USA donated six engine simulators.

"This is just awesome," instructor Gregg Sharp told The News-Messenger newspaper. "These simulators are invaluable to the people participating in this program. We are so grateful to Yamaha for thinking of us and making this donation. There is no way this program could have afforded to purchase such items."

The simulators include those for inboard and outboard engines and are valued at $16,850.
