Boat Trader debuts iPad app

December 2011 News

Boat Trader, a Dominion Marine Media business that offers boat classified ads, launched a new free iPad application.

The app is location-aware and puts more than 100,000 new and used boats, yachts, sailboats and personal watercraft at the user's fingertips.

The new app allows users to find a dealer in a specific ZIP code or location or search for boats by type, price range, model year and length. Users can view multiple boat and dealer locations on enhanced maps and quickly access driving directions. Each boat listing provides a detailed description, including length and engine hours, along with multiple photos of the boat.

"We are excited to offer our new app as a free download. The user-friendly design makes it easy to search for boats and view slide shows of high-quality photos," Dominion Marine Media consumer marketing manager Kim Rocco said in a statement. "We are also debuting our video boat reviews on select makes and models - a true insider look at the boats."
