Premier On The Parade Route

Published in the August 2012 Issue August 2012 Ask The Expert

Premier pontoons are a pretty big deal in the pontoon world. And now country music is taking note. Critically acclaimed group Little Big Town recently released a single called Pontoon and three Premier pontoons took center stage as the country music foursome partied onboard while shooting their newest music video.

The shoot took place on Percy Priest Lake near Nashville, Tenn., and included Premier's 240 SunSation, 240 SunSation Walk-on Upper Dek and 200 SunSation. The boats were also used to transport the band and their posse on a sunset cruise after filming wrapped.

But that's not where the fun ended. Four Premier pontoons were featured in the CMA (Country Music Association) Music Festival's kick-off parade in downtown Nashville in June. Each of the four members rode on one Premier pontoon through the parade route. They picked the Grand Entertainer, Grand Isle, S-Series and Solaris models to be represented and the boats also carried fans who had won their spots during a contest hosted on Little Big Town's social sites. The closing of the parade ended with the band performing Pontoon.

Premier then teamed up with Little Big Town and iHeartRadio in a promotion to give away a 200 SunSation in conjunction with the song's release.

"We're so pleased to see Premier's pontoons showcased in such a different way," says Premier President Bob Menne. "It's great to have pontooning recognized in today's pop culture as a relaxing, fun and youthful activity. And what better way to show it than in a music video just in time for summer."
