The New Standard In Wind Measuring

Published in the March 2013 Issue March 2013 News

Davis Instruments has given boaters the opportunity to harness the wind with their compact, technologically top-of-the-line Turbo Meter. Capable of measuring wind speeds from 0 to upwards of 99.9 mph and sensing speeds with an infrared light beam, the pocket-sized anemometer displays speed directly proportional to wind speeds.

The Turbo Meter's versatile display can be switched between four different measuring scales, including miles per hour, knots, feet per minute and meters per second. Weighing in at just 3 ounces and measuring 2.6 inches by 4.7 inches, the Turbo Meter makes a perfect hand-held tool for any boater and makes wind measuring as easy as a breeze.
