Take Me Fishing Teams with Walt Disney World Resort to Connect Families with Boating

Published in the September 2013 Issue September 2013 News

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) and its Take Me Fishing campaign announced a new relationship with Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Media Networks that will encourage kids and families to connect with nature through boating and fishing.

The alliance relationship will encourage guests who boat and fish at Walt Disney World Resort to continue these memorable experiences at home by connecting them with TakeMeFishing.org, which provides information about where to boat and fish in their local communities.

“We’re thrilled to work with Disney to make ‘Take Me Fishing’ part of guests’ fishing and boating experiences,” said Frank Peterson, president and CEO of RBFF. “By doing so, we are able to promote boating and fishing to a broader audience and expand on our shared vision of connecting kids and families with nature.”

Walt Disney World Resort offers guests wonderful boating experiences and unparalleled catch-and-release fishing. There are 11 locations across Walt Disney World Resort that offer guided fishing excursions. (www.takemefishing.org)
