PDB Tested: Gerber Black Crucial

June 2014 PDB Tested

They told us this beast was rugged but that almost seemed like an undersell after we got our hands on it. Even wet hands easily clench onto the curved handles, which are more comfortable than typical straight grips and provide much more torque. Complete with a half fine/half serrated knife, strap cutter, Philips/flathead screwdriver and V-cut wire cutters, this tool is ready for people who get dirty in the great outdoors. Priced at a reasonable $50, it carries like a pocket knife but quickly and easily folds out for multi-tool use. Plus its stylish look will impress anyone you happen to come into contact with while cruising on the lake. This is definitely another homerun for Gerber.
