Following on the heels of their success at the Miami International Boat Show, BRP announced today a partnership with Cobalt Boats that will feature their Evinrude E-TEC G2 engines on Cobalt's Marker One Platform Series of pontoon and deck boats.

"We're proud to rig the Marker One Platform Series with the all-new Evinrude E-TEC G2 engine," said Gavan Hunt, Cobalt Boats vice president of Sales and Marketing. "The power and efficiency of the Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard delivers the torque and fuel economy our customers demand. The added bonus of BRP's customizable engine panels aligns perfectly with Marker One's Design Your Dream vision, as well. This isn't your typical pontoon, and that's why we're rigging with an outboard that stands out on the transom."

Alain Villemure, vice-president and general manager of BRP's Marine Propulsion Systems division, continues, "The pontoon boating segment is growing, and we're committed to meeting this increased demand with unique products to perfectly match each application. Whether the Evinrude E-TEC Pontoon Series, specifically designed to enhance acceleration and throttle response, or the all-new Evinrude E-TEC G2 engine, with best-in-class torque for performance-minded consumers, we have what they want. This partnership with Cobalt Boats further reinforces our commitment to bring the power of choice to as many consumers as possible."
