Carefree Boat Club continues its growth in Georgia

May 2015 News Web Exclusive

Carefree Boat Club continues to add locations to its ever-growing business. They have recently begun operations at a third facility in Georgia, this one located on Lake Hartwell between Atlanta and Spartanburg at Harbor Light Marina in Lavonia.

Just like the other locations, the fleet at Lake Hartwell will feature boats from Supreme and Centurion, as well as 250 HP Sylvan triple pontoons and Formula boats.

“Members love the exceptionally smooth rides of our Formula bowriders and the higher speeds, better handling and stability of our triple tube, high horsepower Sylvan pontoon,” said David Rothwell, who owns the club, as well as the Lake Lanier and Lake Allatoona locations.

The Lake Lanier club opened in the spring of 2014 and the Lake Allatoona club began in March of this year. “Lake Hartwell’s 962 miles of scenic shoreline provides our members spectacular boating opportunities and also serves the South Carolina population,” added Rothwell.
