Vinnebago By Corkcicle: PDB TESTED No. 171

May 2015 PDB Tested Roy Sparks

Geared around bringing cold or hot drinks out on the boat, the Vinnebago was pitched to us as a handy new bottle that will keep your drinks ice cold for 25 hours and hot for 12. As boaters we do like our beverages, so we decided to give it a try.

We were hoping for one of those extreme hot summer days to really test it out, but what we got was still a warm toasty day. I filled up the stainless steel bottle first thing in the morning and exercised great restraint by waiting until mid-afternoon to take my first sip. Sure enough, my drink was just as cold as it was hours earlier.

With a couple of Vinnebago canteens you could possibly replace the need for a cooler on your boat, but that might be a stretch. Available in white, black and stainless steel, the Vinnebago can be purchased for $29.95. Considering its durability and sleek look, that’s really not a bad price.
