You Can’t Miss Premier’s New Two-Story Escalante Pontoon

August 2015 Industry, News Web Exclusive

Right on the heels of Premier’s announcement concerning their new Dodici line comes the next big thing—the two-story Escalante pontoon.

This newest walk-on upper deck model for 2016 is, in the words of Premier president Lori Melbostad, “the ultimate pontoon for families who love to entertain and take advantage of everything boating has to offer.”

The steps of the curling stairway are enhanced with Tesselation stone flooring and safety lighting and link the upper and lower decks of the 10-foot-wide 310 Escalante. This stairway is incorporated into the patent-pending Stairway Galley, which boasts a full door with a hard-sided bathroom/changing room, refrigerator, wine cooler and sink.

Melbostad explains, “The stairs leads to the center of the upper deck where there’s a slide, two lounge couches, and the best views on the lake.”

Other standards include a 36-inch PTX performance package, Seagrass flooring on the upper and lower decks, Marine Audio stereo and speakers, patent-pending Duro rails and new graphics, and a Heritage 10-Star chair and refrigerated cup holder at the helm. Yes, you could say this all goes to show that the Escalante is yet another beautifully designed innovation from the 24-year-old family-owned and-operated company that never fails to impress!

“I think the Escalante takes comfort and easy living to the next level,” Melbostad says. And what more could you want in a pontoon? After all, Melbostad adds, “It’s got all the seating, storage and convenient, luxury features to make the adults happy, along with that slide that’s just irresistible to kids of all ages.”
