Premier Marine has been on fire lately! What’s their latest trick? They call it the Encounter, their first center-cabin pontoon model.
“We saw a need to design a boat that had the stability and luxury of a pontoon with the convenience and comfort of a cabin cruiser,” says Premier president Lori Melbostad. “This model performs like no other pontoon and features a very spacious interior cabin; it will satisfy our customers who like to spend as much time as possible on the water.”
Available in 290 and 310 models, the Encounter comes standard with a 10-foot-wide layout, 42-inch PTX package, and center-console sleeper cabin.

The cabin is tucked under the raised helm and comes with a plush sleeper, custom mattress, and a bedding and accent pillow package. Also standard are the head, internal speakers, deck hatch, port lights, and a convertible dining table.
But it doesn’t end there. The Encounter also boasts Prosperity furniture featuring the new Heritage marine-grade fabric, high-end Zenith wheel, Seagrass flooring, Imperial galley with refrigerator, a front bench seat and a sun lounger, new Duro rails and graphics, Marine Audio stereo and speakers, front-mount camera, and a refrigerated cupholder at the helm—all standard.
“Any boat lover has had those days when they can’t bear to say goodnight to a perfect sunset on the lake,” Melbostad says. “This model lets boaters expand their summers with a place to sleep, lounge, or just get away from it all.”
