Polaroid PCA3200 Selfie Stick: PDB Tested No. 188

January 2016 PDB Tested

At some point during a boating vacation, you realize if your arms were only more ape-like, you could A) fit everyone into a picture, B) not leave the picture-taker out of the photo, or C) not have to throw yourself on the mercy of strangers to take photos for you.

Enter the Polaroid PCA3200 selfie stick. All it takes is a charged monopod, a downloaded camera app on your Smartphone, and a push of the button on the handle to start taking awesome shots that would be impossible with your normal human physique.

Because of its sturdy, light-weight build, I didn’t have a hard time trusting my co-worker’s Smartphone to the adjustable padded clamps. (And I’m nervous about risking other people’s property, so this is quite impressive—I’d trust my phone, of course, but it’s not smart enough.) The telescoping pole, in all of its 3-foot glory, securely supports the weight of your phone. Compatible with Android 3.0 and iOS 4.0 and up, you can also swivel and lock the head in place at all different angles, and easily stash the retracted selfie stick in your purse or bag at only 8 inches.

Overall, this is one high-quality selfie stick that is perfect for outdoor adventures or laidback boating vacations. And for such a fantastic price of $29.99, this selfie stick really is built to last for many trips out on the water to come. Say cheese!
