Premier’s Company President, Lori Melbostad, is joining the National Association of Manufacturers in Washington D.C. this week, where she was chosen as one of the 100 women honored with the 2016 STEP (Science, Technology, Engineering and Production) Ahead Award!

This is a national honor designed to identify the best of the best women in the manufacturing industry. It also works to encourage women to mentor and support the next generation of female talent to pursue manufacturing careers.

“I am honored to represent the marine industry and women in manufacturing roles,” Lori shares. “It is critical to continue to support manufacturing within the United States to increase our economic prosperity.”

Today the honorees have been meeting with members of Congress at Capitol Hill, representing manufacturers and industries around the country. The team at PDB wants to add our congratulations to this year's winners, and extend an extra excited congrats to Lori Melbostad!
