Ultimate Do-Over

October 2016 Brady L. Kay

There is a sense of comfort when Captain Ed Rice is at the helm. His calming presence and wealth of knowledge of the area is clearly a factor in his popularity based on the high percentage of his return customers. For over a decade, Captain Ed has been a regular on the water, providing scenic pontoon tours to both tourists as well as the locals in his home state of Maine.

Many visitors to the area strive to experience Maine but fall short and don’t get the most of what this northern state has to offer unless they plan to spend some time onboard one of the many boat charters offered by River Run Tours. The USCG-licensed captain works hard to get you to the places you want to see and he’ll squeeze as much or as little into each trip as you want.

Of course, if it weren’t for Ray and Loraine Scanlon of East Freetown, Mass., River Run Tours may have never begun.
