November 2017 News Web Exclusive

Hanging out in Chicago in the dead of winter might not sound like a lot of fun, but when there’s hundreds of boats to be explored and you’re sitting toasty inside, what can you complain about? The Progressive Insurance Chicago Boat, RV & Sail Show is considered the Midwest’s largest indoor boat show and is officially dropping anchor at McCormick Place, 2301 South Lake Shore Drive from January 10th to the 14th. Board and personally inspect over 600 boats, check out the latest in outdoor and marine accessories and technology, and pop in on a variety of free and paid educational seminars.

“For 88 years the show has given Midwesterners a chance to get out of the cold, and gear up for the exciting outdoor season ahead,” shared Keith Ogulnick, Show Manager, Progressive Insurance Chicago Boat, RV & Sail Show. “We pride ourselves on showcasing the latest and greatest in boating and outdoor recreational vehicles, and educating attendees on the newest technology available. The show is a great opportunity for families to enjoy the best boating, sailing and RVing have to offer year after year.”

Up-and-coming special features include Paddlefest, where you can paddleboard and kayak across an indoor pool, and the Huck Finn Trout Pond for young attendees looking to try their hand at fishing for real trout.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online at $15 for adults (children 12 years old and younger are free).
