December 2018 News, Ask The Expert Trade Only News Web Exclusive

The Larson brand is up for sale as Marquis Yachts plans to focus on its larger Carver, Lexus and Marquis brands. According to a story on wearegreenbay.com, the company plans to lay off 30 office and production workers as it prepares to sell Larson. The website said that the company has a current workforce of about 400 workers.

Company CEO Rob Parmentier told TradeOnlyToday that most of the displaced workers would be hired as the company ramps up production of new Lexus and Marquis models. The Lexus 650 is scheduled to be launched next November.

Parmentier called the sale of Larson “imminent.”
