If you’re reading this page, it’s already kind of obvious you’re passionate about boating. But have you ever read a boating article and thought to yourself, “I could do that!” Well, here’s your chance.
Boating Writers International (BWI) created a scholarship fund to honor undergraduate college students—from any major—who demonstrate passion for the field of boating media and have a clear career goal to pursue this field.

If you know a deserving college student who would like to make a career in boating journalism, photography, video, broadcasting, film, or art, please encourage them to apply. Judges will look for applicants with talent, promise and firsthand knowledge of the boating life.
To be considered, applications must be completed in full and emailed to info@bwi.org.
