Barletta Pontoon Boats, located in Bristol, Ind., is investing into their customer experience team with the creation of a Barletta Owner Specialist position. Alan Sickles will step into this new role that will focus on enhancing the Barletta customer experience as the primary contact point for current Barletta Pontoon Boat owners as well as prospective owners.
The customer experience at Barletta has been a major foundational component Barletta has built its business upon. From the moment a customer comes into contact with Barletta Pontoon Boats, whether it be at a boat show, a dealership, on the Internet, or through social media, Barletta has worked to provide an easily accessible, and informative platform. The addition of this position, and Sickles, is an extension of this platform by providing additional information in a timely and personable manner.

It’s exactly what I envisioned when we started on the path to build Barletta.”
“However, we’ve grown as a company,” continued Fenech, “and that has necessitated internal growth to continue to meet and exceed the needs of our Barletta family members. Alan not only has the experience for this position, but he also has an understanding and passion for what we are striving to do at Barletta. It’s the perfect storm for our Barletta family.”
Sickles has been with the Barletta team for almost two years as a member of their industry-first White-Glove PDI team - an independent inspection team responsible for insuring that Barletta delivers “showroom-ready” pontoon boats, in fit and function, to the dealer network. Prior to joining Barletta, Sickles honed his customer experience skills as a Regional Facilities Director focusing on top-of-the-line customer service, sales and leadership. Sickles will report directly to Gary Baker, Vice-President of Customer Experience, but will also have a direct line to Fenech.
As part of Sickles role as Owner Specialist, he will be reaching out to Barletta family members, upon receiving warranty registration information, to assure the best possible experience with every Barletta Pontoon Boat.
“In the beginning, I was able to personally call each new Barletta family member to welcome them and ask about their experience. It was a couple hours a day I truly enjoyed - but our growth has prevented me from being able to continue that practice,” continued Fenech. “Alan steps into that role now, on my and Barletta’s behalf, to keep that vital line of communication alive. Our Barletta family members are the lifeblood of all we do here - I’m excited for them to talk with Alan. And, who knows...maybe I can sneak in a few phone calls every once in a while.”
