Pontoon & Deck Boat magazine is teaming up with Carefree Boat Sales to test identical pontoon boats with different outboard brands to do a side-by-side motor test. The Georgia dealer has ordered eight identical Premier Marine pontoons exactly the same way but with different outboards.
You get the best fuel economy and top speed numbers with just two people on board, but we're going to load them up with people and gear to get a real comparison. Our test will include top speed as well as putting each through an obstacle course to see how they handle.
