Sneak Peek 2022: South Bay 500 Series

Here Comes The ULE

January 2022 Feature PDB Staff

New for 2022, South Bay is proud to introduce its new Ultimate Lounge Entertainer (ULE) model to the 500 series, which is available in both 23- and 25-foot lengths. One of the things that make this boat truly unique is the way that the lounger in the stern of the boats can be changed into a table. This makes this model South Bay’s newest entertainer style boat for next year.

The cushion on the table snaps off and the bed easily pulls up, forming a table where you can play cards, enjoy wine and a charcuterie board, or have lunch with the kiddos. The swingback has been one of their most popular models over the last few years, along with their bar boat. This made them realize they could create a concept that allows you to have both, giving you the best of both worlds.

Additionally, South Bay partnered with Weiland Designs, an award-winning company famous for their furniture designs and engineering. They tasked them with giving the South Bay 500 series a face lift and the manufacturer is more than impressed with the turnout.

They’ve added storage space in the seat backs that have USB charging ports, and the chaise lids now have double the storage. Plus, the curvature lines give the boat a higher-end look with extremely comfortable seating.

Then, for some of the best audio experiences on the water, South Bay introduced Wet Sounds last year. This year they took the next step and moved the speakers from the floor and recessed them right into the furniture. Raising the speakers takes the sound to a whole new level.
