June 2022 News

BRP is excited to announce the appointment of Karim Donnez as President of the Marine Group. Donnez has been at BRP for over 7 years and joined the company as Senior Vice President, Strategy, Business Development & Transformation in 2015. His determination and relatability helped forge BRP’s business strategy, which was instrumental in the acquisitions of Alta Motors assets, leading to the creation of BRP’s electrification program, and subsequently Alumacraft, Manitou and Telwater. With the acquisition of these three boat companies, BRP’s Marine Group was created in 2018 and Donnez took on its leadership as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Marine.

“One of our strategic priorities is ‘Making waves in Marine’’, says Donnez. “Our goal is to elevate BRP as a leader in the recreational boating industry by working diligently to offer unmatched customer service, products that will reinvent the industry, ultimately providing unforgettable memories on the water to our consumers.”

Donnez will lead Marine Group’s ambitious plans to transform recreational boating and offer customers a superior boating experience. Reporting directly to BRP President & CEO, José Boisjoli, Donnez will oversee sales, operations, engineering and overall strategic growth of the BRP Marine Group, which includes Alumacraft, Manitou, Quintrex and Rotax jet propulsion systems and outboard engines. Together with his team, Donnez will optimize and expand the potential of this business and disrupt the market.
