23 Sneak Peek: Avalon's Newest Offering

Published in the November 2022 Issue October 2022 Feature

Avalon is going all-in on luxury for 2023 with the release of its Excalibur LTD. The flagship Excalibur is one of the manufacturers most in-demand models, but unfortunately since 2020 suppliers haven't been able to keep up with the numbers the Michigan-based builder was projecting. The biggest hurdle being the .060-inch thick GX wall set with fiberglass inserts, which is unique to this model.

Being a vertically integrated manufacturer, Avalon is constantly looking for ways to mitigate supply chain issues and has come up with a solution for model year 2023. They have decided to take the long list of standard features included with all Excaliburs and roll those into the new LTD, but pair it with its traditional Deco Wall Skin so they are able to produce these models and fill the gap that its suppliers could not.

The engineering team worked on a graphic for the exterior that mimics the curves in the fiberglass to ensure the LTD was as eye-catching as the original, even with a smooth wall skin and from the water you really have to look close to notice the difference.

Along with the addition of this model, both the Excalibur and LTD went through a furniture redesign for 2023 and now features a beautiful tri-colored interior with stunning quilted accents and Ultrafine Vinyl.

Other common standard features include 27-inch diameter Waveglider triple-pontoon performance package, Power GX Arch, interior and exterior RGB lighting, full walk through dual windshield helm, teak-looking vinyl flooring, Viper III touchscreen dash, Premium Fusion Audio sound package, Garmin 743XS GPS and so much more.
